Utility infrastructure cadastre
Every newly built utility line — water, sewage, gas, power, telecommunications — must be surveyed and registered in the Croatian utility infrastructure cadastre. We survey lines while the trench is still open and prepare the reports that put your infrastructure properly on record.
Surveying before backfilling
A utility line is surveyed while the trench is open — position and depth are then measured directly and accurately. We come to the site in coordination with the contractor and survey the route, manholes, connections and crossings with other utilities, so the works never wait for the surveyor.
Reports and cadastre registration
Based on the field survey we prepare the infrastructure survey report and submit it to the competent cadastral office. A properly registered line is a condition for the use permit of infrastructure works, and it gives the owner a permanent, official record of their network.
Why utility records matter
An unrecorded line is invisible — until an excavator cuts through it. Accurate records protect against costly damage and service interruptions, speed up consents for new works in the corridor and make managing the network over decades far easier.
Frequently asked questions
When must a new utility line be surveyed?
Ideally before the trench is backfilled, while position and depth can be measured directly. The registration obligation applies to all owners and operators of utility infrastructure in Croatia.
The line is already buried — can it still be registered?
Yes. We locate it with a utility detector, from as-built documentation and visible elements (manholes, cabinets). Accuracy is somewhat lower than with an open trench, but the report is prepared and registered normally.
Who submits the report and to whom?
We prepare the report and submit it on your behalf to the competent cadastral office, which registers the line in the utility cadastre. We handle the entire administrative procedure.
Do you work with utility companies managing larger networks?
Yes — besides individual reports we carry out systematic surveys of existing networks and prepare the data for GIS systems of utility and distribution companies.
